Like the earlier Model 1866 "Yellow Boy", the '73 changed the brass alloy receiver to an iron one, adding strength and other improvements, such as a built-in dust cover. The Model 1873 150th Anniversary celebrates a century and a half of the rifle that defined the American West, in a commemorative edition worthy of its legacy.
