The M3 Slug is offered with a 50 cm slug barrel and various sight configurations, adapting to different hunting and precision uses. All M3 family barrels are chambered in 12/76 and function without any adjustment with both standard and Magnum ammunition.
It is especially well-suited for wild boar hunting or slug use, with a magazine tube holding up to 7 standard shells or 6 Magnum, plus one in the chamber.

At conventional hunting distances, standard cartridges continue to provide everything required. Magnums begin to justify their greater velocity, recoil and powder consumption as distance increases. But the most important conclusion does not appear in any table: the goal is not to choose the most powerful cartridge, but the one that retains sufficient energy and terminal velocity at the maximum distance at which we can genuinely place the shot accurately.
